Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch
SKA was retained by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch to design and install a remediation system to recover a gasoline product plume from beneath the planned location of a new post 11 September 2001 Federal Reserve Bank building, which began construction in May 2003 in Houston, Texas. The recovery system included two dual-phase horizontal extraction wells that replaced a vertical well recovery system previously installed at the location of the planned building. Read more...

Hardy Street Railroad Yard.

Closure Granted
SKA was retained by a private developer to conduct environmental investigation and remediation activities on and adjacent to an approximate 50-acre former railroad yard. The railroad yard was active from the late 1800s through the late 1900s. Typical environmental impacts encountered include petroleum hydrocarbon impacts from lubricating oils and fuels in soil and groundwater, chlorinated solvent impacts in groundwater, and regulated metals impacts in soil.
